GlossaryWhat is a company move?
Definition. A company move is when the whole crew, cast and equipment relocate from one shooting location to another within a shoot day. It costs time to wrap, travel and set up again, so schedulers avoid it by shooting everything at one set together.

How a schedule avoids them
Group scenes by set first. A day with two sets in it is flagged, because that day contains a move.
In Midnight Diner
Every one of the 4 shoot days is a single set, so none contains a move.
Questions
Can a company move be planned well?
Yes. A short move between nearby locations at the middle of a day can be scheduled, but it should be a conscious choice with the time allowed for it.
